"Youyou New Book·Volume 3·Source of Disease VII" also said: "The whole body is hot and the limbs cannot move, fear of cold increases, cheeks are red like gold, mouth is dry and nose is dry, the disease gradually becomes deep, just because of shock and collapse, this disease is from the heart." etc., recorded that the precursors of patients with congenital heart disease appear early, which can appear in infancy, such as dull face, slow development, thin body, pale face and red cheeks, night crying, choking when swallowing milk, and cold heart and chest, which are often signs of congenital heart disease.

Chinese medicine prescription:

Daiyangdihuang Pills

Main indications: rheumatic heart disease, heart failure.

Prescription: 1 qian of oleander leaves (dried in the shade), 2 qian of winter melon peel (dried in the shade). Preparation method: Grind into fine flour and divide into 30 packets (1 fen per packet).

Usage: Take one packet each time, two to three times on the first day, and once every night thereafter. Make sure to wrap the medicine with steamed bun skin and take with water.

Contraindications: This medicine has a cold nature and should not be taken in excess. It should be taken under the guidance of a doctor.

Fangji Decoction

Main indications: rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart disease.

Prescription: 5 qian of Stephania tetrandra, 3 qian of Polygonatum odoratum, 6 qian of Astragalus membranaceus, 3 qian of Atractylodes macrocephala, and 1 liang of Yuncen.

Preparation method: decoction in water. Administration: one dose per day. For children, reduce the dosage as appropriate.

Jiajian Wupi Drink

Indications: Heart disease, edema

Prescription: 5 qian of Codonopsis pilosula, 5 qian of Atractylodes lancea, 5 qian of Alisma orientalis, 3 qian of Plantago seed, 4 qian of Poria cocos ...2 qian of dried tangerine peel, 3 qian of ginger slices, 3 qian of bamboo leaves, and 2 qian of licorice.

Preparation method: decoction in water. Dosage: once in the morning and once in the evening.

Taboo: Avoid salt.
