When hand, foot and mouth disease occurs, its manifestations are diverse. Generally speaking, hand, foot and mouth disease can be cured within a week, and the prognosis is good. There are only a few complications and serious diseases. When the condition is serious, meningitis, encephalitis, encephalomyelitis, pulmonary edema and body circulation disorders may also occur, and death may occur. Therefore, it is very important for patients to detect and treat the disease as early as possible. The incidence of the disease is higher in infants and young children under 3 years old, and the disease progresses extremely rapidly, so early diagnosis and treatment are required.

For example: fever, cough, runny nose, loss of appetite and other manifestations; severe patients may also have mental disorders, drowsiness, headache, vomiting, shaking, cramps, physical ataxia, eye disorders, weakness and other neurological diseases, and may also experience body convulsions, coma, breathing difficulties, foamy sputum, shock and other conditions.

When a child has hand, foot and mouth disease, parents should observe the child's condition at all times and see if it is serious as soon as possible. Go to the hospital for outpatient treatment, or observe at home, but follow up in time. Severe children should be hospitalized.
