Is neonatal jaundice easy to treat?

The probability of neonatal jaundice is really high. Whether it is good or not only depends on the disease. If it is pathological jaundice, the treatment will be difficult. There are many different ways to treat jaundice. You can choose light therapy or drug therapy. If light therapy cannot promote the disappearance of bilirubin, you can also choose blood therapy.

1. Is neonatal jaundice easy to treat?

This needs to be combined with the condition of the newborn. If it is just physiological jaundice, sometimes it will recover automatically without treatment. If it is pathological jaundice, professional treatment is required, and sometimes even drug treatment or whole-body transfusion therapy is required, so whether it is easy to treat depends on individual circumstances.

2. How to treat neonatal jaundice?

1. Light therapy

Phototherapy actually uses fluorescent irradiation, which can effectively promote the disappearance of high bilirubin. After care and treatment, bilirubin will be directly converted into another substance, which will be gradually excreted through urine and will not affect the health of the newborn.

2. Exchange transfusion therapy

If the neonatal jaundice is more serious, exchange transfusion therapy can also be chosen, but this situation is limited to the case that after choosing light therapy, bilirubin is not only not controlled, but continues to rise. At this time, exchange transfusion therapy should be chosen. Exchange transfusion therapy may also have some adverse reactions, so it is necessary to choose a professional

3. Medication

Neonatal jaundice can also be treated with medication, such as intravenous immunoglobulin, or liver enzyme inducers. Of course, some people will choose Chinese medicine treatment. As for how to choose the medicine, it is recommended to follow the doctor's instructions.

4. Other treatments

In fact, there are many treatments for newborns. In order to effectively promote the disappearance of jaundice symptoms, other measures can also be chosen. For example, first of all, the baby must have enough milk, which can also effectively promote defecation and disappear jaundice as soon as possible.
