Can pneumonia in children be cured?

Nowadays, many children have pneumonia. Because children's resistance and immunity are relatively poor, they are particularly susceptible to infection. Many children who catch a cold do not receive good treatment, which eventually leads to pneumonia. If a child has pneumonia, it must be treated in time, otherwise it will cause serious consequences. Can pediatric pneumonia be cured?

It takes about a week for children to get better after treatment for pneumonia, and 1 to 2 weeks or even longer to recover. Some parents are often too anxious. Even if the child is in good spirits and general condition, and the cough and wheezing are not severe, they will go to the hospital several times a day just because the body temperature has not subsided. This is not good. The sick child cannot get a rest. The hospital is crowded with patients, the air is not good, and it is easy to get infected with other diseases. It is not conducive to the recovery of the sick child.

During medication treatment and nursing, if the child is found to be restless, gray in complexion, breathless and sweating, cyanosis around the mouth, and a significantly accelerated pulse, he should be sent to the hospital immediately to avoid delaying the treatment of damaged heart function.

It should be noted that: if the child has been ill for nearly two weeks and still has a fever despite treatment, makes a grunting sound when exhaling and cannot lie flat, and older children may complain of chest pain, then this may be accompanied by empyema and the child needs to be taken to the hospital for further examination and treatment. If it is severe pneumonia, complications may easily endanger the child's life and the child must be hospitalized.
