1. 3. Cough variant asthma: It is a special type of asthma with airway hyperresponsiveness, which is mainly manifested by chronic cough. Cough is usually the main symptom, and is sometimes accompanied by chest tightness, shortness of breath and other symptoms. Due to the existence of airway hyperresponsiveness, when the baby is exposed to cold air or irritating odors, it may induce cough symptoms, so the baby's cough may be caused by cough variant asthma;

4. Gastroesophageal reflux: The baby's gastrointestinal tract is not fully developed, and gastroesophageal reflux is prone to occur after eating. Gastric acid will reflux into the esophagus and irritate the throat, causing coughing symptoms. The baby may also cough at this time.
