How to check pneumonia in children

How to check pneumonia in children

If the living environment is not very good, it is easy to have problems, because there are always many diseases that often occur, especially when suffering from viral pneumonia, which can make people's lives become chaotic, so patients should also pay attention to examinations actively. So, what are the examination methods for viral pneumonia? The following is a detailed answer.

1. Auxiliary examination:

(A) Chest X-ray shows reticular shadows in both lungs, with thickened and blurred lung texture. In severe cases, diffuse nodular shadows can be seen in the middle and lower fields of both lungs. Consolidation is rare.

(ii) Blood test: The white blood cell count is generally normal, but may be slightly higher or lower. In case of secondary bacterial infection, the white blood cell count and neutrophil count may increase.

(III) Etiological examination: Virus culture is difficult and not easy to carry out routinely. If sputum smears of pneumonia patients only reveal scattered bacteria and a large number of nucleated cells, or no pathogenic bacteria are found, the possibility of viral pneumonia should be suspected.

(IV) Serological examination: Two samples of serum from the acute phase and the recovery phase, complement fixation test, neutralization test or serum inhibition test, an increase of 4 times or more in antibody titer is diagnostic. In recent years, serum monitoring of virus-specific IgM antibodies has been used to help early diagnosis. Immunofluorescence, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, enzyme-labeled histochemistry, horseradish peroxidase-anti-horseradish peroxidase method, etc. can be used for rapid virus-specific diagnosis.

The above content is a brief introduction to the examination of the disease. I believe everyone has some understanding and knowledge of it. The disease is very harmful to the human body, so we must strengthen our own exercise in daily life to stay away from the occurrence of the disease.
