Physical examination can reveal signs of meningeal irritation, weakened or absent tendon reflexes, and positive pathological signs such as Babinski's sign.Respiratory system manifestations: shallow breathing, difficulty breathing or rhythm changes, cyanosis of lips, cough, coughing up white, pink or bloody foamy sputum; moist rales or sputum sounds can be heard in the lungs Circulatory system manifestations: pale complexion, skin patterns, cold limbs, cyanosis of fingers (toes), cold sweats, prolonged capillary refill time, faster or slower heart rate, shallow or weakened pulse or even disappearance, and increased or decreased blood pressure. If there are no complications, the prognosis is generally good and most patients recover within a week.
