Baby cough can cause allergic rhinitis

A baby's cough may cause allergic rhinitis, but there are many causes of allergic rhinitis, and it may also be caused by diseases such as pharyngitis and bronchitis. If the baby has any discomfort, it is recommended to go to the hospital for treatment in time.

1. Allergic rhinitis: If the baby has an allergic constitution, contact with pollen, dust mites, and animal fur may irritate the nasal mucosa and cause allergic rhinitis, causing congestion and edema of the nasal mucosa, increasing nasal secretions, thereby irritating the throat and causing coughing symptoms in the baby. Avoid contact with allergens and give anti-allergic drugs under the guidance of a doctor, such as loratadine tablets, cetirizine hydrochloride tablets, etc.

2. Pharyngitis: If the baby has pharyngitis, it may cause congestion and edema of the throat mucosa, leading to dryness and itching in the throat, which may cause coughing symptoms. Drink more water and give Pudilan Anti-inflammatory Oral Liquid, Lanqin Oral Liquid and other drugs for treatment under the guidance of a doctor;

3. Bronchitis: If the baby has bronchitis, the inflammation may cause increased bronchial secretions and irritate the throat, causing coughing symptoms. The air should be kept fresh, and antibiotics should be given under the guidance of a doctor, such as amoxicillin granules, azithromycin granules, etc.

4. Other reasons: If the baby has gastroesophageal reflux disease, it may irritate the throat mucosa and cause coughing symptoms. In addition, if the baby has allergic asthma, it may also cause coughing symptoms after inhaling allergens such as pollen. If it is caused by allergic asthma, you should pay attention to getting away from the allergen in time and give anti-allergic drugs under the guidance of a doctor, such as cetirizine hydrochloride tablets, loratadine tablets, etc.

You should also pay attention to adding or removing clothes to avoid getting cold and inducing diseases. You should also pay attention to a reasonable diet, mainly light food, and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.
