Multi-faceted examination method for pneumonia in children

Multi-faceted examination method for pneumonia in children

Knowing some examination methods related to the disease can help patients know the existence of the disease early, so that they can get better treatment and provide an opportunity for a cure of their disease. Therefore, it is necessary for us to understand the multi-faceted examination methods of pediatric pneumonia. The following is an introduction to this.

Laboratory tests

1. Blood picture

The main examination is white blood cell count, <5109="" l="">20×109/L, which can also be within the normal range.

2. Etiological diagnosis

After birth, the nasopharyngeal secretions are cultured for bacteria and isolated for viruses for diagnosis. Then, as needed, gastric fluid smears are performed to find white blood cells and antigens, or blood samples are taken and pharyngeal tracheal secretions are smeared, cultured, and tested by countercurrent immunoelectrophoresis.

3. Fluorescent antibody and serum antibody test

Among them, the increase of specific IgM is meaningful for the diagnosis of intrauterine infection.

Testing

Bronchopneumonia

In postnatal infectious pneumonia, diffuse, light and dark blurred shadows or widespread dot-like or large and small infiltration shadows in both lungs can be seen on chest X-rays. In a few cases, lobar consolidation shadows can be seen.

After the above introduction to the relevant examination methods for neonatal pneumonia, I believe everyone has a deeper understanding of this. Knowing this knowledge clearly can help patients well and help them get out of the clutches of the disease as soon as possible.
