Introduction to diet for children with pneumonia

Therefore, when parents find out that their children have pneumonia, they should treat them well and pay more attention to their diet.


What to eat when children have pneumonia

1. 5 pieces of grapefruit flesh, 60 grams of dried cabbage, 15 grams of Astragalus membranaceus, 250 grams of lean pork, boil all the medicines together and take it, 1 dose a day, divided into two doses. It can nourish qi and yin, moisten the lungs and resolve phlegm.

2. Add 50 grams of lily and 200 grams of coix seed to 5 bowls of water, boil into 3 bowls, take in 3 times, 1 dose per day.

3. 30g walnut kernels, 30g crystal sugar, 150g pear, mince together, add water and boil. Take 1 spoon each time, 3 times a day.

4. 10g almonds (peeled and broken), 1 to 2 pears, and appropriate amount of rock sugar. First, cut the pears into pieces and remove the core, cook with the almonds, add rock sugar when the pears are cooked, and drink instead of tea.

5. Add 10 grams of Codonopsis pilosula, 15 grams of jujube (pitted), and 150 grams of glutinous rice to appropriate amount of water and cook into porridge. Season with sugar and serve.

6. 10 grams of almonds, peel and tip, grind and filter the juice, add 30 grams of rice and water to cook into porridge for consumption.

Remember, during the fever period, the diet should be light and easily digestible, preferably liquid or semi-liquid food, such as porridge, rice noodles, lotus root powder, fruit juice, mung bean soup, etc. You also need to drink plenty of water and keep your bowel movements smooth.

Patients with pneumonia should pay attention. If children develop shortness of breath after suffering from pneumonia, they must pay special attention, because shortness of breath in children can easily be life-threatening. Therefore, in the early stages of pneumonia, parents should take their children to the hospital for a detailed lung examination to avoid the sudden occurrence of these dangerous symptoms.
