Effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on children's pneumonia

Neonatal pneumonia has become more common in life. The occurrence of this disease has brought great harm to the health of children. It needs to attract our attention and must be taken seriously in life. Let us learn about the effect of acupuncture treatment of pediatric pneumonia. Let's take a look:

(1) Staphylococcus aureus infection: If it is Staphylococcus aureus, enzyme-resistant penicillin, first-generation cephalosporin or ampicillin can be used.

(2) Gram-negative bacteria: Ampicillin and amikacin (amikacin) can be used for pneumonia caused by enteric bacteria such as Escherichia coli. Third-generation cephalosporins can be used for Pseudomonas aeruginosa, severe cases, or those resistant to general antibiotics.

(3) Group B hemolytic streptococcal pneumonia: GBS pneumonia can be treated with penicillin and ampicillin (ampicillin) for 3 days, followed by high-dose penicillin for 10 to 14 days.

(4) Listeria pneumonia: Ampicillin can be used.

(5) Chlamydia pneumonia: Erythromycin is the first choice.

(6) Viral pneumonia: Ribavirin or interferon can be used for treatment. Herpes simplex virus can be treated with intravenous drip of adenosine or acyclovir (acyclovir). Respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia can be treated with ribavirin (virazole) nebulized inhalation for 3 to 7 days.

Through the understanding of the above content, we already know very clearly what are the precautions in the treatment of neonatal pneumonia. In life, we must learn more about relevant knowledge and do a good job of prevention in daily life. Only in this way can we reduce the occurrence of the disease and keep children away from the harm and troubles of the disease.
