Long-term inadequate feeding is the main cause of malnutrition. For example, if multiple births, twins and premature babies are not fed scientifically, they often suffer from malnutrition. Congenital malformations such as cleft lip and chronic wasting diseases such as tuberculosis can also cause malnutrition. If a healthy diet consisting of the appropriate amount, type or quality of nutrients is not consumed for a long time, the individual will be malnourished. Long-term malnutrition may lead to death from starvation. Therefore, once malnutrition is discovered, it is necessary to treat it in time.
