The correct diet for children with diarrhea

Autumn is drier and is also a season when viruses spread faster. Diarrhea is a common disease among children at this time, which has always troubled parents. In fact, many people should know that the occurrence of baby diarrhea is not only related to the season, but also has a lot to do with diet. When the diet is improper, the baby will have diarrhea. So when autumn comes, what should babies with diarrhea eat?

Traditional Chinese medicine is quite effective in treating diarrhea in children. For example, the following treatments are used:

1. Grind yam into powder, 39 grams per day, mix with boiled water to make a milk cake, take 34 times a day, suitable for spleen deficiency diarrhea;

2. Honglingdan, 0.3g each time, swallow 3 times a day, or boil 30g of Lentil Flower in water, 3 times a day, suitable for damp-heat diarrhea;

In addition, acupuncture therapy can also be used. First, take Zusanli and Yinlingquan, and then needling Qihai and Zhongwan. If diarrhea does not stop, you can add pricking the diarrhea-stopping points and moxibustion on the Shenque point with moxa sticks. If vomiting occurs, add needling Neiguan.

In terms of daily care, the diet of the child should be adjusted. For mild cases, fasting is not necessary. The number of breastfeeding should be reduced as much as possible, the feeding time should be shortened, and milk, malted milk, chocolate and other foods that are difficult to digest should be stopped; salt water, rice soup, thin powder, etc. can be drunk. For severe cases, fasting for 6-24 hours is required. If the symptoms are relieved after fasting for a certain period of time, the diet can be gradually resumed. Eating must be from less to more, from thin to thick, and must not be rushed.

For children with mild dehydration, oral rehydration salts can be used for treatment; for those with severe dehydration, intravenous infusion should be given to correct electrolyte imbalance. Antibiotics should not be used indiscriminately to prevent adverse consequences. In addition, care should be taken for the sick child. In addition to dietary adjustments, the child's abdomen should be kept warm.

The baby's diet is very special. When diarrhea occurs, diet becomes even more important. A reasonable diet can help the baby relieve diarrhea and also play a role in auxiliary treatment. In addition to paying attention to the baby's diet, parents should also properly disinfect the tableware used by the baby to prevent diseases from entering the body through the mouth.
