Causes of tracheitis in children

Causes of tracheitis in children

Experts analyzed that due to the further deterioration of the environment in recent years, the severe weather of smog for several days, and some other reasons, respiratory diseases have been on the rise year by year, especially chronic bronchitis. There are many causes of this disease, and the main contents are analyzed as follows.

Due to the worsening of air pollution and some other reasons, the prevalence of respiratory diseases is on the rise. The cause of chronic bronchitis is not single, but many factors are still not clear enough.

1. Infection Respiratory tract infection is another important cause of the onset and aggravation of chronic bronchitis. According to domestic and foreign research, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae and Moraxella catarrhalis are currently believed to be the main pathogens of acute attacks of this disease.

2. Atmospheric pollutants such as chlorine, nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide and other smoke have irritating and cytotoxic effects on bronchial mucosa. When the smoke or sulfur dioxide in the air exceeds 1000μg/m3, the acute attacks of chronic bronchitis will increase significantly. Other dusts such as silica, coal dust, cotton dust, sugarcane dust, etc. also irritate the bronchial mucosa and cause the proliferation of lung fibrosis, which damages the lung clearance function and creates conditions for bacterial invasion.

3. Smoking is now recognized as the main cause of chronic bronchitis. Smoking can shorten and irregular the cilia of the bronchial epithelium, cause ciliary movement disorders, reduce local resistance, weaken the phagocytic and sterilization function of alveolar macrophages, cause bronchospasm, and increase airway resistance.

4. Other factors In addition to the above, climate change, especially cold air, can cause increased mucus secretion and weakened bronchial ciliary movement. In winter, the fluctuation of the patient's condition is obviously related to temperature and temperature difference. Autonomic dysfunction may also be an internal cause of this disease. Most patients have autonomic dysfunction. Some patients have hyperparasympathetic nervous system function and airway reactivity is stronger than normal people.

5. Allergic factors Allergic factors are related to the onset of chronic bronchitis. Preliminarily, bacterial sensitization is a cause of rapid and delayed allergic reactions in chronic bronchitis. Especially in patients with asthmatic chronic bronchitis, there are more patients with a history of allergies. The positive rate of skin tests for multiple antigens is higher than that of the control group, and histamine and eosinophils in sputum tend to increase; the rheumatoid factor in the serum of other patients is higher than that of the normal group, and it is found that the IgG content in the lung tissue of patients with severe chronic bronchitis is increased, suggesting that it is also related to type III allergic reactions. Allergic reactions cause bronchi contraction or spasm, tissue damage and inflammatory reactions, followed by chronic bronchitis.

The above content is an introduction to several common causes of chronic bronchitis. After reading this article, it can be helpful and of reference value to you. For a disease like chronic bronchitis, once the patient is diagnosed, he must not be discouraged, but must cooperate with the doctor for active treatment to improve the quality of life as much as possible.
