Indigestion in children is a digestive problem in children caused by many reasons. It is also a common childhood disease. How should parents deal with this common childhood disease? Now let me introduce a Chinese medicine treatment method.

Massage is a commonly used physical therapy method in traditional Chinese medicine, which has the effect of dredging meridians and regulating organs. If parents can insist on massaging their babies, they can enhance their physical health and enhance their ability to resist diseases. Here is a family child massage and health care method for treating indigestion and loss of appetite in babies. The specific techniques are as follows:

1. Press and rub the four horizontal lines: The four horizontal lines acupoints are located at the horizontal lines of the first interphalangeal joints of the index, middle, ring and little fingers on the palm. During the operation, the operator holds the child's fingers with his left hand, and presses and rubs the four horizontal lines acupoints with the index or middle finger of the right hand for about 2 to 3 minutes; the four horizontal lines acupoints can also be pushed, and the four fingers of the child are put together. The operator pushes from the horizontal line of the child's index finger to the horizontal line of the little finger with the thumb of the right hand, and pushes 50 to 100 times. It has the effect of regulating qi, harmonizing qi and blood, and eliminating distension.

2. Press and rub the Banmen acupoint: The Banmen acupoint is located at the thenar eminence of the child's palm. When operating, the operator holds the child's fingers with his left hand, dips the right thumb in talcum powder, and presses and rubs the Banmen acupoint. When pressing and rubbing, press clockwise and counterclockwise; you can also use the pushing method. Push the base of the thumb to the wrist crease to stop diarrhea, and push the wrist crease to the base of the thumb to stop vomiting. Pushing back and forth can regulate the spleen and stomach function. Push 50 to 100 times for 2 to 3 minutes.

3. Push the spleen meridian point: The spleen meridian point is located on the radial side of the child's thumb. During the operation, the operator pinches the four fingers of the child's left hand with the middle finger or ring finger of the left hand, and then pinches the child's thumb with the thumb and middle finger. The operator dips the right thumb in talcum powder and pushes the child's spleen meridian point directly to the base of the thumb. 50~100 2. Push straight in one direction, not back and forth. It has the effect of strengthening the spleen and stomach.

4. Palm massage: During operation, the operator holds the child's fingers with his left hand, dips the right thumb into talcum powder, and massages the child's palm for 50 to 100 seconds. 2. Massage in clockwise and counterclockwise directions.

5. Abdominal massage: The child lies flat, and the operator uses the four fingers or palm of the right hand to move around the child's abdomen, with the umbilical cord as the center. Diarrhea in the direction of the large intestine is suitable for dry stools; supplementation in the direction of the large intestine is suitable for loose stools; generally choose to go in the same direction, reverse half, and massage for about 50~100 seconds. During the operation, the technique should not be too heavy, but should be appropriate; the operator's hands should not be too cold, but should be warm. It has the effect of regulating the spleen and stomach.

6. Foot massage (rubbing Yongquan acupoint): Yongquan acupoint is located in the center of the foot. Bend your toes and the center of the foot will be concave. The operator rubs the acupoint with the middle finger, index finger or thumb, and massages clockwise and counterclockwise for 2 to 3 minutes. It has the effect of stopping vomiting and diarrhea and regulating the spleen and stomach.

Note:

1. Children's massage techniques should be appropriate and should not make the baby feel uncomfortable.

2. Massage for about 5 to 10 minutes every day and persist for more than three months for better results.

During massage, the indoor temperature should be above 22 degrees Celsius to prevent the baby from catching a cold.

4. This technique should not be performed on an empty stomach before or immediately after a meal.
