Is hand, foot and mouth disease serious?

Hand, foot and mouth disease is caused by viruses invading the patient's mouth, skin and other parts of the body. Symptoms such as difficulty swallowing food may occur, as well as itching and pain.

1. This is a very serious symptom

Hand, foot and mouth disease is a disease caused by enterovirus. It affects the patient's hands, feet, mouth, buttocks, but not necessarily in the same patient. Skin blisters and rashes basically disappear within a week.

When treating this disease, first of all, we should pay attention to the isolation of patients, prevent cross infection, pay attention to oral hygiene, reduce fever, and give patients antiviral treatment. Drugs such as Isatis root, Qingkailing, and Pudilan can be used for treatment. Patients should also drink plenty of water. Patients are in good mental state, without high fever or limb tremors, and can be treated symptomatically.

2. The disease can extend to many parts of the body

This disease is the most common disease in children. It invades the patient's mouth, oral mucosal papules, and the patient has strong pain. Its symptoms are mung bean-sized, oral blisters, scattered symptoms, and obvious dizziness on the edges. It is basically located on the patient's tongue and cheeks. There will also be a lot of patients' lips and teeth. The oral blisters will also rupture, and the papules will be grayish white, small dots, and surrounded by redness. In severe cases, erosion will occur. After a few days, it will become dry and scabbed.
