Since immune dysfunction can easily lead to kidney disease in children, the incidence of kidney disease in children has been on an upward trend in recent years. Immune dysfunction may be related to the environment, air, food, etc. Environmental pollution, etc. can affect the function of the immune system. Next, I will introduce to you some precautions in the diet for children with kidney disease.

1. Eat light and easily digestible food, avoid seafood, beef, mutton, spicy food, alcohol and all hair-raising foods such as aniseed, coffee, coriander, etc.

2. Prevent colds, avoid catching cold, do not eat health foods or tonics to prevent worsening of internal heat.

3. Patients with severe edema should avoid salt, limit the intake of protein food, and drink less water. Patients with mild edema can drink low-sodium salt water; patients without edema do not need to limit the intake of water and protein food.

4. People with microscopic hematuria are very prone to getting angry. They should drink more water and eat more apples, white sugar, black sesame seeds, fungus and other foods that nourish yin and reduce fire.

5. People with high blood potassium should avoid eating expensive foods such as seafood, mushrooms, ham, fungus, dried fruits, corn flakes, bananas, citrus, potatoes, dried radish, tea, soy sauce, MSG, etc.

6. People with high blood uric acid should especially avoid eating animal offal, fish, shrimp, crab, clams, beer, mushrooms, beans, and spinach.

7. Patients with renal failure and uremia should eat half a pound of milk, one egg, and one ounce of lean meat every day.
