Exercise for ADHD

ADHD is a common psychological and behavioral disorder in children, which often occurs in childhood. Compared with children of the same age, ADHD symptoms include difficulty concentrating, shorter attention span, impulsiveness, and excessive activity. Parents may not know enough about ADHD, thinking that their children are just a little naughty, but they don’t know that this is a disease. What is Exercise Therapy for ADHD?

Exercise training method 1: Balance beam exercise. Let the child stand on the balance beam and do crawling and walking movements, and repeat these movements repeatedly.

Exercise training method 2: rotating the barrel. Let the child lie on his/her stomach in a large barrel, and the parent slowly rolls the barrel, and the child will keep crawling. This method can exercise the child's balance ability and cultivate the child's patience.

Sports training method three: playing slides. When you are free, you often take your children to play slides. Children like to play, and let them slide up and down the slide by themselves.

Exercise training method 4: Playing a merry-go-round. Let the child sit on the merry-go-round, and the parent turns the merry-go-round, ten times clockwise and ten times counterclockwise, alternating repeatedly in a cycle.

One thing to learn every day: participate in recreational activities and physical exercises with children with ADHD: relax during recreational activities and enhance parent-child relationships; increase endurance during physical exercises and don’t be afraid of sweating in hot weather; regularly engage in games with rules and learn to abide by the rules and control impulses in happiness.
