In our daily life, pediatric diarrhea is a very common disease, but once a child suffers from pediatric diarrhea, it will cause great physical and mental suffering to the child, so everyone must pay more attention to it. So how to prevent the occurrence of pediatric diarrhea in daily life? Let's learn about it together.

1. Pay attention to food hygiene. Food should be fresh and clean. Spoiled food should never be fed to babies. Tableware should also be disinfected.

2. Promote breastfeeding to prevent infant diarrhea Breast milk is the most suitable food for babies under six months old. Human milk contains IgA, which can neutralize E. coli enterotoxin and prevent infection with E. coli.

3. Follow the principle of adding complementary food from less to more, gradually increase, so that the baby has an adaptation process; from thin to thick, first drink rice soup, gradually transition to porridge, soft rice; from fine to coarse, such as when adding fruit, start to feed juice, and then eat fruit puree. Try to add egg yolk, fish puree, and soft tofu at five months; after seven months, add nutritious and digestible foods such as fish, minced meat, green vegetables, biscuits, etc., gradually make necessary preparations for weaning, but weaning is not suitable in summer. When gradually adding food, it is best to wait until the baby gets used to one food before adding another food. Do not add several at the same time, especially when the baby is sick, and do not add another food. Do not force the baby to eat when he has a poor appetite.

4. Strengthen the physical fitness to prevent infant diarrhea. Usually strengthen the baby's outdoor activities and improve the ability to adapt to the natural environment. Only when the body is exercised can the physical fitness be strengthened, the body's resistance can be improved, and various diseases can be avoided.

5. Avoid adverse stimulation and prevent your baby from being overly tired, frightened or overly nervous in daily life.

6. Strengthen the care of weak babies. Babies with malnutrition, rickets, or those who are weak after illness should be given more care, pay attention to food hygiene, and avoid various infections. Mild diarrhea should be treated in time to avoid delaying it and turning it into severe diarrhea.

For the health of your child, you must conduct a comprehensive physical examination and treatment. If you find that your child has diarrhea during breastfeeding, this is a critical situation and you must not waste time and send him to the hospital for treatment.
