How to treat children with poor resistance?

Nowadays, many children have poor physical resistance. At this time, children should drink more water and pay more attention to their diet to ensure that they can get enough nutrition. In addition, they should insist on physical exercise, ensure adequate sleep, and avoid the abuse of antibiotics as much as possible.

For most parents, the most worrying problem is that their children often get sick. Every time their children get sick, parents will blame themselves for not taking good care of them. In fact, children who often get sick may have poor body resistance. Generally speaking, catching a cold more than three times a month is a sign of poor resistance. So what should we do if children have poor resistance?

1. Let your child drink more water: If the child's resistance is relatively poor, parents should let them drink more water. Drinking more water can keep the mucous membrane moist and become an important line of defense against bacteria. Whether going out to play or going to kindergarten, try to let your child bring a water bottle so that he can drink water anytime and anywhere. Remember to give your child boiled water and not drink various sugary drinks, otherwise it will be counterproductive.

2. Supplement sufficient nutrition: Children are in the stage of growth and development, and their demand for nutrition is very large. If you want to improve children's physical resistance, you have to help them supplement sufficient nutrition, especially zinc. Reasonable zinc supplementation can enhance children's resistance and is also conducive to the absorption of other nutrients.

3. Insist on physical exercise: For children, insisting on physical exercise is an important way to enhance physical fitness. This kind of exercise should start from an early age. As long as the weather is good, parents should take their children to outdoor activities more often. This can allow the skin to synthesize vitamin D and promote the body's absorption of calcium. It also helps the development of other aspects of the body, speeds up metabolism, and enhances disease resistance.

4. Ensure adequate sleep: Ensuring adequate sleep can also help improve children's resistance. If there is insufficient sleep, the number of T cells in the body will decrease, and it will not be able to better deal with viruses and various bacteria, which will increase the chance of getting sick. Therefore, parents must let their children develop good sleeping habits and ensure at least 8 to 10 hours of sleep a day.

5. Do not abuse antibiotics: Frequent abuse of antibiotics is also a common cause of poor resistance in children. Parents should pay more attention to this aspect. If a child suffers from an infectious disease, if the symptoms are relatively mild, try not to use antibiotics and let the child recover on his own. This can strengthen their immune system and improve their resistance.
