Can newborns with jaundice take Yinzhihuang oral liquid?

Can newborns with jaundice take Yinzhihuang oral liquid?

Because taking too much oral liquid can easily cause diarrhea in babies, Yinzhihuang has the effects of clearing heat, promoting bile secretion, and relieving jaundice. However, although Yinzhihuang oral liquid has the effect of relieving jaundice, it is not recommended to take it too long, and it can only be taken for 7 days at most. How long does it take for babies to drink Yinzhihuang oral liquid to relieve jaundice? When newborns have jaundice, Yinzhihuang oral liquid and Yinzhihuang granules are often prescribed to babies. Yinzhihuang oral liquid can relieve jaundice by promoting intestinal excretion. If the baby does not have obvious diarrhea, it is recommended to take it for 3-5 days, up to 7 days.

Prevention of neonatal pneumonia

To prevent intrauterine infectious pneumonia, pregnant women need to do perinatal care, try to avoid infectious diseases, and seek timely treatment if they are infected. Amniotic fluid aspiration is prone to secondary lung infection during delivery, so pregnant women with high-risk factors are best to choose a hospital with neonatal rescue capabilities to give birth to reduce the harm of amniotic fluid or fetal aspiration to the newborn. For pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes and choriocarcinoma, antibiotics can be used before delivery to prevent fetal infection. If pregnant women have genital group B streptococcal infection, penicillin can be used for treatment before delivery. Neonatal pneumonia is divided into intrauterine infection, infection during delivery, and infectious pneumonia after birth.

Symptoms of fever in newborns

When a newborn shows symptoms of heat stroke, it is generally likely that there will be an imbalance in the body temperature center. If the surrounding temperature is relatively high for a long time, the body temperature center of some parts of the body will be out of balance, causing symptoms such as sweating and fever, and heat stroke may also occur. If the child is active in high temperatures for a long time and is affected by strong radiation, the body temperature will continue to fluctuate, causing dizziness and thus heat stroke. It may also be caused by excessive liver fire. At the same time, the excess heat in the body causes the temperature of the internal organs to rise, causing diseases in the liver, lungs and other functions, causing liver fire. Therefore, parents should not let their children stay in high temperatures for a long time, and let their children drink more red bean or mung bean soup to cool off.
