Is infectious jaundice easy to treat?

Is infectious jaundice easy to treat?

Infectious jaundice is relatively not serious. Generally, after active and effective treatment, the symptoms of inflammation and infection can be effectively controlled, so it is relatively easy to treat.

Infectious jaundice is generally caused by the damage of liver cell function when pathogens such as viral infection and bacterial infection invade the liver. Due to the different causes of infectious jaundice, the methods used in treatment are also different. For example, if it is caused by bacterial infection, antibiotics can be used under the guidance of a doctor, such as cefixime granules, cefuroxime axetil tablets, amoxicillin capsules, etc., but sometimes bacterial culture and drug sensitivity tests are required to select sensitive antibiotics for treatment. Patients with jaundice also need to use drugs to reduce jaundice for symptomatic treatment. Commonly used drugs are enteric-coated adenosine butadiene disulfonate tablets, Yinzhihuang granules, and Yinchen Tuihuang capsules. Active treatment to improve symptoms is generally not difficult in clinical treatment.

If the jaundice index is low during the examination and the individual is in good physical condition, they will generally recover completely in about 10 days after effective treatment. However, if the jaundice index is high or the patient is in poor physical condition, the treatment will be more difficult, so the recovery time will be relatively longer.
