1. Food Injury Type:

Symptoms: Abdominal pain and bloating, heavy diarrhea with a sour, rancid and foul smell, often accompanied by undigested food residues, bad breath and belching, thirst and poor appetite, vomiting and sour urine, thick and greasy yellowish tongue coating, slippery and rapid pulse, and sluggish and purple fingerprints.

To promote bowel movement and relieve constipation: Yi Nian Jin, Qi Zhen Dan, etc.

Strengthen the spleen and stop diarrhea: Baohe Pills, Shanzha Jianpi Pills, etc.

2. Deficiency and cold type:

Symptoms: loose and foamy stools, even watery, light in color and slight odor, intestinal rumbling and abdominal pain, pale complexion, clear and long urine, may be accompanied by chills and fever, nasal congestion and runny nose, thin white or greasy tongue coating, soft and slow pulse, and red or light red fingerprints.

Use Qian Yi Liuwei Baizhu Powder or Yihuang Powder, and add Alpinia oxyphylla, Psoralea corylifolia, Evodia rutaecarpa or Zhishu Pills as appropriate.

3. Damp-heat type:

Symptoms: Abdominal pain and diarrhea, yellow-brown, hot and smelly stool, more than ten times a day, which may be violent and urgent, and the stool may be watery, or sticky and uncomfortable. The anus is burning and red, the body has a slight fever, irritability and thirst, less urine and yellow color, red tongue, yellow and greasy coating, slippery and rapid pulse, and purple-red fingerprints.

Use Gegenqinlian Decoction with alkali.

Parents must not prescribe medicine for their children themselves, but should go to the hospital to ask a Chinese medicine expert to check and treat them in time. Choose a regular hospital for treatment!
