There are many hidden diseases around us, such as Kawasaki disease. If not treated in time, it will bring many adverse effects to the patient's life. Therefore, in daily life, we should take preventive measures to stay away from them. So what is the diagnostic tool for Kawasaki disease? Let me introduce it to you below. 1. Typical symptoms of Kawasaki disease: (1) Fever for more than 5 days plus 4 of the following 5 symptoms: ① Bilateral conjunctival congestion without exudate; ② Red lips, bayberry tongue, diffuse congestion of oral and pharyngeal mucosa ③ In the acute phase, there is hard edema of the hands and feet, and erythema on the palms, toes and fingertips; in the recovery phase, the transition area of the nail bed skin begins to peel off like a membrane ④ Maculopapular rash, erythema multiforme or scarlet fever rash ⑤ Enlarged cervical lymph nodes with a diameter exceeding 1.5 cm. (2) Exclude other diseases (3) If fever is only accompanied by the other three symptoms, but the patient has coronary artery aneurysm formation, KD can also be diagnosed. 2. Incomplete KD (1) Fever for 5 days, but only 2 or 3 of the other 5 clinical features, excluding febrile diseases such as scarlet fever, drug allergy syndrome, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic shock syndrome, adenovirus infection, and Epstein-Barr (EB) virus infection. (2) Reference items for incomplete KD ① Reappearance of erythema at the BCG vaccination site; ②The platelet count increased significantly; ③CRP and ESR increased significantly; ④Echocardiography showed coronary artery dilatation or increased brightness of arterial wall; ⑤ Heart murmur (mitral regurgitation or pericardial friction sound); ⑥Hypoalbuminemia and hyponatremia. Through the above introduction, everyone should know how to diagnose Kawasaki disease. Therefore, when a child has symptoms such as fever accompanied by rash, mucosal damage and swollen lymph nodes, parents should take their children to the hospital for treatment in time, because this may be the cause of Kawasaki disease. |
