Causes of nighttime cough in children

The baby's night cough may be caused by lung heat. So in order to control the disease, you should choose medicines that clear the lungs and nourish yin. Most people may choose Xiaokuihua Cough and Asthma Oral Liquid. This is because the Chinese herbal medicines selected in it can achieve the effect of resolving phlegm and can effectively eliminate the root cause of the disease. So what are the reasons for children's night cough?

1. Bronchitis
Bronchitis may also cause coughing in children. Bronchitis is mostly caused by bacterial infection, and may also be accompanied by colds, coughs and sputum. Sometimes there will be severe coughs, especially at night, accompanied by wheezing. The worst time is two hours after the child falls asleep, or around 6 o'clock in the morning.
2. Upper respiratory tract infection
It is mostly an irritating cough, such as itchy throat, no phlegm, and shortness of breath may occur all night. At this time, the child will also have a runny nose and sometimes a fever, but the body temperature will not exceed 38 degrees. In addition to these symptoms, it will be accompanied by loss of appetite, mental discomfort, etc. After the above symptoms disappear, the cough will continue for about 3 to 5 days.

3. Turbid indoor air
If the room is not well ventilated, children may have obvious coughing at night. If the doors and windows are closed frequently, the indoor air may become turbid, which may cause children to have obvious coughing at night, so it must be taken seriously.
4. Cough caused by laryngitis and pharyngitis
After suffering from pharyngitis, there will be obvious hoarseness and thick sputum. If the child is older, he will directly complain to the parents that there will be obvious pain in the throat, but most babies may not be able to express it, so they will refuse to eat and become angry. They will also feel weak when coughing. This is all caused by inflammation of the respiratory mucosa.

5. Allergic cough
Continuous or repeated severe cough, mostly paroxysmal, more obvious in the morning, aggravated by infants' activities or crying, children will also have obvious sneezing or coughing when encountering cold wind, but with less sputum. Coughing at night is more obvious than during the day, and it will last for three months, more likely to occur in spring and autumn.
