Baby's cough is aeroallergic rhinitis

Your baby's cough may be due to aeroallergic rhinitis, but it cannot be ruled out as other diseases such as pharyngitis, bronchitis, and allergic cough. It is recommended that parents give their baby targeted treatment under the guidance of a doctor to avoid delaying the disease.

1. Air allergic rhinitis: Air allergic rhinitis is usually caused by the presence of dust mites, pet dander, pollen and other allergens in the living environment. The allergens in the air enter the baby's body and react with the body's immune system, causing the baby to have symptoms such as nasal itching, sneezing, and nasal congestion. It can be treated with drugs such as loratadine syrup and budesonide inhalation aerosol;

2. Pharyngitis: Pharyngitis is usually caused by viral or bacterial infection. The pathogens invade the pharyngeal mucosa, causing congestion and swelling of the pharyngeal mucosa, which leads to thickening of the pharyngeal mucosa, and symptoms such as cough, dry throat, and pharyngeal pain. It can be treated with Qinghou Liyan Granules, Yinhuang Lozenges, and other drugs.

3. Bronchitis: Bronchitis is usually caused by viral or bacterial infection. As the pathogens invade the bronchial mucosa, it causes congestion and edema of the mucosa, increased mucus secretion, and symptoms such as coughing and sputum. It can be treated with drugs such as Feili Ke mixture and ambroterol oral solution.

4. Allergic cough: This may be because the baby inhales a large amount of allergens such as pollen and dust mites, causing the airway to become highly reactive, causing congestion and edema of the airway mucosa, increased exudate, and coughing symptoms. It can be treated with drugs such as loratadine syrup and levocetirizine hydrochloride oral solution.

In addition to the above situations, pneumonia can also cause this symptom. If the baby's coughing symptoms persist, it is recommended that parents take them to the pediatric respiratory department of the hospital in time for complete visual examination, blood routine, sputum culture and other examinations to make a clear diagnosis.
