Babies are the center of a family, so when our babies have skin symptoms, mothers should pay attention, because skin symptoms can be serious or minor, and the most common skin symptom in newborn babies is eczema, which is a headache for most mothers. Let's take a look at what medicine is the best for children with eczema.

Have a history of external infection or unclean diet. The skin lesions are polymorphic, with erythema, papules, blisters (no bullae), erosions, exudates, and scabs. They are often caused or aggravated by eating fish, shrimp, crabs, mutton, coffee, alcohol, spicy food, etc. The skin lesions are mostly localized, with clear boundaries, dark red or gray-brown, covered with scales, rough and thickened surface skin, obvious skin grooves, lichenification, or hyperkeratotic chapped inflammatory patches. There are no specific changes in laboratory tests, and blood eosinophils may increase. Skin patch testing has certain limitations.

Steps for taking the medicine:

Step 1: Decoction of Chinese medicine (see instructions on medicine bag for details)

Or Chinese patent medicine: one part medicine, one part water, let it cool, use gauze to wash, for 5-10 minutes.

Step 2: Mix the two ointments in a 1:1 ratio and apply to the affected area twice a day for 2-3 days.

Step 3: After the rash is no longer red and has basically subsided, use Chinese herbal ointment to consolidate the effect for a week.

Note: If there is a thicker scab, you can first apply vegetable oil to moisturize it for 30 minutes, and then wash it with Chinese medicine.

Home measures:

1. Give the child more light, easily digestible food rich in vitamins and minerals. The mother should avoid eating fish, shrimp, crab, eggs and spicy food during breastfeeding, and also avoid drinking alcohol.

2. If you suspect milk allergy, you can switch to allergy-free amino acid formula milk powder.

3. Do not use hot water, salt water or soap to wash the eczema area.

4. Underwear should be made of soft, loose cotton or fine fabrics. Avoid wearing chemical fiber fabrics. Baby diapers should be washed and changed frequently.

5. Parents should avoid having their babies with patients with herpes simplex or herpes zoster during the illness to prevent the children from developing Kaposi's varicella-like rash.

6. Before the child goes to sleep, parents should restrain the baby's hands appropriately to prevent the baby from scratching his skin.

7. Keep your baby's bowel movements smooth and his sleep adequate.

8. Avoid your child from being too fat. Obese children are much more likely to suffer from eczema.

In addition: The room temperature should not be too high, otherwise it will make the eczema itching worse. Minimize allergens in the environment to reduce allergic reactions caused by irritation. Do not keep pets at home, such as birds, cats, dogs, etc. Ventilate the room, do not smoke indoors, do not put carpets indoors, and it is best to wet wipe to avoid dust, or use a vacuum cleaner to deal with dusty places at home, such as curtains, frames and other items.
